Privacy Policy

LoudDemand (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the editorial publication atlouddemand.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we may collect, how we use it, with whom it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

LoudDemand is a premium editorial publication covering B2B demand generation, search and AI visibility, content distribution, lead generation, go-to-market systems, marketing automation, and measurement. We are related to LoudScale, a services business; that relationship does not change how we treat data you share with LoudDemand unless you separately engage LoudScale.

This document is a launch baseline written for transparency. If advertising or additional email systems are connected later, we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date. It is not a substitute for legal advice tailored to your jurisdiction.

Scope

This policy applies to personal data processed in connection with:

• Browsing and reading content on the Site
• Subscribing to our newsletter, The Demand Brief
• Submitting inquiries through contact or similar forms
• Aggregate readership measurement and optional analytics tools

It does not cover websites, products, or services operated solely by third parties, including LoudScale at loudscale.com, except where we explicitly collect data on their behalf (which we do not do by default on this Site).

Data we may collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may process the following categories of data.

Information you provide

• Newsletter subscription. Email address, your confirmation of theTerms of Use and this Privacy Policy, and explicit marketing consent for The Demand Brief. Those checkboxes are never pre-checked. We also store technical metadata about the form source (for example, which page or module you used to subscribe).
• Contact and inquiry forms. Name, email address, topic, message content, confirmation of the Terms of Use, and an optional Demand Brief marketing checkbox if you choose it. Marketing consent is never pre-checked and is not required to send a message.
• Email correspondence. If you write tohello@louddemand.com, we process the content of that exchange to respond.

Information collected automatically

• Hosting and CDN logs. Standard server and edge logs may include IP address, user agent, approximate location derived from IP, referrer, requested URL, timestamps, and error diagnostics. These are used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare automatically loads its cookie-free Web Analytics beacon to provide aggregate readership measurements such as page views, referrers, and device or browser categories. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or local storage and does not collect personal data. It operates independently of the optional Google Analytics choice below.
• Consent-based analytics. When you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 may collect pseudonymous usage events such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate region, device and browser category, and interaction events. Google Analytics is blocked until you opt in through the privacy controls, and advertising storage, signals, and personalization remain disabled.

Local storage on your device

The Site uses limited browser localStorage for your theme and analytics-consent choices. Contact messages and newsletter email addresses are not copied into browser storage; submitted form data is sent to our Cloudflare Worker and stored in Cloudflare D1. You can clear local preferences at any time through browser settings and reopen analytics choices through the “Cookie settings” control in the footer.

Cookies and similar technologies

LoudDemand is primarily a statically generated editorial site. We do not rely on advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking as a core product feature.

• Essential cookies or similar storage may be set by our hosting or CDN provider for security, load balancing, or abuse prevention.
• Google Analytics may set first-party measurement cookies only after you choose “Allow optional analytics.” Selecting “Essential only” keeps Google Analytics storage denied. You can change that choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
• Browser localStorage records theme and consent preferences as described above.

You can control cookies and site data through your browser. Blocking essential storage may affect security features or form behavior.

How we use data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

• To deliver The Demand Brief and related subscription communications you requested
• To respond to contact form submissions and editorial or commercial inquiries
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site and its content experience
• To measure content performance in aggregate (for example, which topics readers engage with)
• To prevent spam, abuse, and fraud (including honeypot fields on forms)
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

We do not use newsletter or contact data to train public AI models. We do not sell personal information.

Legal bases (where applicable)

If you are in a jurisdiction that requires a lawful basis for processing (for example, the EU or UK), we typically rely on: (1) your consent for optional communications such as newsletters; (2) our legitimate interests in operating a secure publication, responding to messages you initiate, and understanding aggregate Site performance; and (3) legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only as needed with:

• Cloudflare provides Worker execution, CDN and security services, Turnstile bot verification, operational logs, cookie-free Web Analytics, and D1 database storage for form submissions.
• Google Analytics provides optional audience measurement only after analytics consent. Advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization, Google signals, and ad personalization signals are disabled by our site configuration.
• Zoho ZeptoMail sends transactional email from the verified domain notify.louddemand.com: subscription confirmations for The Demand Brief and contact-form acknowledgements or desk notifications. Reply-to addresses remainhello@louddemand.com. ZeptoMail is not used to send bulk newsletter campaigns.
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting) under confidentiality obligations when reasonably necessary.
• Authorities or counterparties when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of LoudDemand, our readers, or the public.
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and continued respect for this policy’s principles.

Related entity note: LoudScale may receive contact details only if you explicitly request an introduction or engage services, or if you contact channels that are jointly operated and clearly labeled. Routine reading of LoudDemand and subscribing to The Demand Brief do not by themselves enroll you in LoudScale sales sequences.

Retention

• Newsletter data is retained while you remain subscribed. Unsubscribed and suppressed records are kept in minimized form so we do not mail you again. Rate-limit rows are deleted after 48 hours. Sent delivery-queue records are deleted after 30 days. Provider event records are deleted after 90 days. Contact messages are retained as needed to complete the conversation and for ordinary business records until you request deletion.
• Contact and email correspondence is retained as long as needed to complete the conversation and for ordinary business records.
• Server and CDN logs follow the retention practices of our infrastructure providers, typically short operational windows unless needed for security investigation.
• Local storage intents remain on your device until you clear them or the browser enforces its own limits (the Site caps stored intents client-side).

When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where practicable.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete data we no longer have a need or right to keep
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Port data you provided to us in a structured format
• Withdraw consent for marketing email (every Demand Brief and welcome confirmation includes a visible unsubscribe link and a one-click header; you can also usethe unsubscribe page from a signed email token)
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your region

To exercise these rights, emailhello@louddemand.com with enough detail for us to verify and fulfill the request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. Access, correction, export, and deletion requests are handled by the desk; unsubscribe links in The Demand Brief remain the fastest path to stop newsletter mail.

International transfers

We may use infrastructure and processors located in countries other than your own. Where transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (for example, standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) as applicable. By using the Site from outside the operator’s primary region, you understand that your information may be processed in other countries with different data-protection rules.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a publication site — including HTTPS, access controls for publishing systems, and provider security practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and regulators as required by applicable law.

Children

The Site is directed at business professionals and is not intended for children under 16 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contacthello@louddemand.com and we will delete it promptly.

Third-party links and embeds

Articles may link to vendor sites, research, tools, or social platforms. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. Optional embeds (if introduced later) may allow third parties to collect data according to their policies; we will prefer privacy-conscious configurations when practical.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational, legal, or product changes. Material changes will be indicated by revising the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy where permitted by law. For significant changes affecting existing subscribers, we may also note the change in The Demand Brief or on-site notice when practical.
